Former owner of LA HAND REHAB CENTER, Lisa received her B.S. degree in Occupational Therapy from University of Southern California. She been an occupational therapist for 35 years and became a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) in 1991. Lisa will be responsible for patients with hand and upper extremity injuries and conditions.
She is experienced in treating a wide variety of pre and post-operative diagnoses, including but not limited to wrist fractures, arthritis, tendon injuries, nerve compressions, and over use syndromes such as tennis elbow and tendinitis. She is also an expert in fabricating custom orthoses.
Lisa takes pride in delivering quality and efficient treatments with a caring touch and sympathetic ear. She has a special interest in workplace injury prevention, assessing computer workstations and teaching proper body mechanics. She was also the inventor and product developer of the successful “Desk- Rest” ™, an ergonomic wrist and arm support for workstations.
As a former faculty instructor at Mt. St. Mary’s College, Lisa taught “Applied Anatomy & Kinesiology” to Occupational Therapy students. In addition, she co-authored the ROM Chapter in the American Society of Hand Therapists “Clinical Assessments Recommendations”, 2nd edition 1992.
Lisa is fluent in conversational Spanish. She is married with two adult children and two grandsons, whom she loves spending quality time with.
